New round in deepening of cooperation between MPEI and The University of Finance and Management in Bialystok (Poland)

Since the 4th of October to the 9th of October the MPEI delegation including Head of the Dept. of Information-Measuring Technique prof. Igor Zhelbakov and International Academic Programme Coordinator Mrs. Irina Kulik paid a visit to The University of Finance and Management in Bialystok (WSFiZ), Poland. The visit provided the official part – participation in the opening ceremony of new academic year "XXIV INAUGURACJA 2016/2017" by the invitation of WSFiZ Rector.

Besides, the visit included another important mission – it has been dated for opening of new academic year and start of two international programs: Erasmus+ (the area – mobility) and two diploma programs, the implementation of these programs began between Universities for the first time. It marked a new round in deepening of cooperation between MPEI and WSFiZ. The participants of programs were the students of Bachelor's program from MPEI Engineering-Economic Institute Anastasia Vasilyeva and Vyacheslav Blagov.

During the monitoring of the programs start there were held a number of working meetings with the staff of the University of Finance and Management in Bialystok, there were settled the mechanisms of implementation of both programs, MPEI employees visited one of classes concerning study of Polish that were organized for students participating in the international programs, they communicated with professors and participating students from different countries.

During the meeting and negotiations with Vice Rector Anatoliush Kopchuk, the adviser to Rector Artem Volkov and the business development manager of University Rafaê Meysak there were discussed new ideas and the prospects of extension of the two diplomas program between Universities.

In general, it is possible to sum up that the visit of MPEI representatives to University of Finance and Management in Bialystok was very fruitful.
