Meeting of Community Board of the Base Institution of CIS Member States for training, professional retraining and personnel development in electric power industry

On the 16th of December, 2016 at National Research University "MPEI" (MPEI) the regular meeting of Community Board of the Base Institution of CIS Member States for training, professional retraining and personnel development in electric power industry took place. On the 30th of October, 2015 according to the resolution of Heads of governments of the CIS Member States MPEI earned the status of Base Institution.

Among the working participants there were representatives of the leading Universities performing staff training for electric power industry, research establishments and non-profit organizations, the largest energy companies from five CIS Member States and also representatives of CIS Executive Committee and MPEI working group on Base Institution. During the meeting the system of video conferencing was applied.

There were also discussed the issues concerning the structure of Community Board; the course of performance of the Work plan of the Base Institution in 2016 and events in 2017 - 2018.

The meeting of Community Board was held by Rector of MPEI, Head of the Base Institution, Rogalev Nikolay, who made the report on changes in structure of Community Board. Also reports were prepared by A. Kuli-Zade, deputy director of Department of economic cooperation of CIS Executive committee – about cooperation results in 2016 in the sphere of electric power industry in the CIS area; Varlamov N., the deputy director general - the chief of PJSC «Rosseti» staff - about interaction of Group of companies "Rosseti" with the CIS Base Institution in the sphere of electric power industry; the deputy manager of CIS Base Institution in the sphere of electric power industry, director of Institute of Remote and Additional Education of MPEI Belousov S. – about events in 2017 - 2018; Tulskiy V., a participant of MPEI working group – about the multi-level system of occupational guidance of pupils for staffing in electric power industry; Korolev A., director of Charity fund "Nadezhnaya Smena" – about results of performance and prospects in 2017 of International engineering championship "Case-in".

Participants of the meeting of Community Board approved the activity of the Base Institution in 2016 and they supported the events planned in 2017 - 2018 aimed at providing national educational standard in the CIS territory and security of energy supply of Member States.
