MPEI Rector had a meeting with foreign visiting professors

On the 2nd of March, 2017 at National Research University "Moscow Power Engineering Institute" the meeting between Rector prof. Rogalev Nikolay and foreign professors who visited MPEI for academic and research work was held.

MPEI Vice Rector on International Relations Zamolodchikov Vladimir also represented the MPEI part.

Among visiting professors were:

Khokhlov Vladimir is professor of Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The host department – GVIE (Dept. of Hydro Power Engineering and Renewable Energy Sources).

Duyshenaliyev Turatbek is professor of Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov, MPEI Doctor Honoris Causa. The host department – RMDPM.

Sharafeddin Karam Faresis professor of Lebanese University, Lebanon, Beirut. The host department – Dept. of Electric Supply of Industrial Enterprises.

Now the visiting professors give lectures to students, they organize discussion groups, they are engaged in research work, and they make reports and prepare joint publications at conferences.

During the meeting with Rector they were talking about plans and the prospects for further development of National Research University "Moscow Power Engineering Institute". They also discussed possibilities of further cooperation. Finally they came to an arrangement upon regular meetings for the maximum use of scientific and academic potential with interest and advantage for both parties.​
