Professors from Australia and Lisbon visited MPEI

International Administration informs that on the 8th of June, 2017 at MPEI a visit of professors of some large foreign universities, professor Yusev Ibrahim of Federation University Australia and professor Stanimir Stoyanov of New University of Lisbon was held.

Yusev Ibrahim (Vice-President for Membership, IEEE-IES) is a responsible for Co-Chair IEEE formation in the 8th world region where Russia is included. In frames of the meeting where MPEI was represented by Institute of Electrical Engineering and Institute of Power Machinery and Mechanics the issues of optimization of IEEE-IES section in Moscow (Head of section, prof. Rozanov Yu.) were discussed. Furthermore the constructive exchange of opinions on involvement of masters and Ph.D.-students in the IEEE-IES youth section took place and the issues of deepening of cooperation between the Universities were discussed.​
