Training of the Chinese students at MPEI

From the 18th of July to the 27th of July the annual training on the Russian language at MPEI for students of Lanzhou University of Technology (LUT) at MPEI within the SCO University took place.

Lanzhou University of Technology is the natural and technological university that has an ancient history. LUT is located in the city of Lanzhou, the capital of the Province of Gansu that used to be an important point of the Great Silk Road.

Trade-union committee of MPEI students prepared the visit schedule for guests of Lanzhou University of Technology. The Chinese students got acquainted with methods of teaching in "Young Power Engineering Specialist" school and developments of Dept. of Relay Protection and Automation of Energy Systems. Dept. of High Voltage Engineering and Electrical Physics has shown operation of the lighting current source.

Therefore LUT guests organized tea ceremony and master class in calligraphy for MPEI students, members of student's groups "Selection Committee" and "Reaction".
