​MPEI International Division informs that from April 10 to April 21, 2013 in Mongolia there had took place events within the project "It's time to study in Russia!" At a stage of the project pilot start in 2013 to carry out the Academic Competition the following countries were defined: Vietnam, Mongolia, China, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Armenia.

The Academic Competitions were held in Ulan Bator, consortium of the Russian universities with support of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology. 13 Russian universities from different cities of Russia took part in the project. Over 300 Mongolian school-pupils of graduation classes took part in actions.

Besides, within the visit the head of MPEI International Cooperation Department - Tarasov A.E. visited the Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST).

Besides, within the visit there had been meetings with Rector of MUST - professor T. Batbayar, the director of Power Engineering School - professor Ch. Mangaljalav, directors of MUST branches in Darkhan and Erdenet.

As a whole the carried-out work in Mongolia assisted to formation of positive image of Russian education abroad.
