Presentation of honorary diplomas of the CIS Electric Power Council13.05.2024On April 26, 2024, at MPEI Academic Council, Sergey Shirinskii, Head of International Administration, and Turatbek Duishenaliev, MPEI Honorary Doctor, Professor of the Department of Robotics, Mechatronics, Dynamics and Machine Strength (IPMM), were awarded the honorary diploma of the CIS Electric Power Council. The honorary diploma was awarded for a substantial contribution to the integration process expansion and development of the electric power industry of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The decision to award the honorary diploma was made at the 63rd meeting of the CIS Electric Power Council held on December 21, 2023. Sergey Shirinskii and Turatbek Duishenaliev demonstrated outstanding leadership and professionalism in their activities, contributing to sustainable development and international cooperation in the energy sector with CIS countries. The honorary award became not only a well-deserved recognition of their personal contribution to the industry development, but also an inspiration for all power engineering professionals, that allows them to strive for new heights and achievements.
