MPEI opens new collaboration programs

On the 5th of June, 2018, in RUDN there has been a session of Coordination Council of the Network University Consortium of CIS. The discussion topics of the meeting guided by RUDN Rector Vladimir Fillipov pointed out the issues of basic results and problems of Network University of CIS functioning and its prospects, legal frameworks, experience of the mutual education programs realization and admission of new universities to the Consortium.

Moreover, a number of new mutual educational programs created by the consortium members were discussed.

National Research University “Moscow Power Engineering Institute” proposed two new programs. First one, the joint program of the Master Heat-and-power Engineering course in Power Electric Stations subdivision is realized by MPEI in cooperation with Iskhak Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University. The second one, the joint program of Master Electrical and Electrical Power Engineering course in Electrical Power Engineering Projects Management subdivision is collectively realized by three Universities: MPEI, and Iskhak Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University together.

New programs have been approved by the Coordination Council and the representatives of partner universities have signed the Agreements of the mutual educational programs’ creation. The realization of the Agreements will be started in September, 2018, with the support of Ministry of Education and Science and International Foundation of Humanities Cooperation.
