Visit of delegation of Konstanz University of Applied Sciences to MPEI

On the 31st of May, 2018, the delegation of Konstanz University of Applied Sciences (KUAS) visited MPEI in the framework of the acquaintance visit to Russian Universities. The delegation consisted of 14 students and 3 professors and the main goal of their visit was discussion of the queries of realization of mutual programs in the sphere of educational and scientific cooperation.

The teaching staff of the University was represented by professors of the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. It is worth mentioning that collaboration between our universities has been lasting more than 25 years due to the personal contribution of professor Anton Kirukhin who had successfully reached his Ph.D. degree at MPEI and then continued his work as a scientist by becoming a professor of KUAS.

The delegation received a warm welcome by the representatives of the MPEI International Administration led by MPEI Rector Nikolay Rogalev. Later professor Igor Zhelbakov held a vast presentation for German guests and after there was a discussion of the collaboration prospects in the field of academic mobility development.

The visit was ended by the meetings with the teaching staff of a number of departments and laboratories of MPEI.
