MPEI starts Double Degree program in partnership with North China Electric Power University

​From 22th of April until 31th of July chief specialist of the Department of international relationship Artem Kovalenko was on a business trip to North China Electric Power University (NCEPU) in frames of the collaboration agreement between MPEI and NCEPU of the Double Degree program realization.

Artem Kovalenko led a meeting with the administration of Department of International relationship, on which the questions linked to the realization of the joint program of Universities have been discussed.
For the successful realization of the project there has begun the NCEPU participants’ complex preparation program, including Russian language. During several months some students from NCEPU have attended the Russian language courses and passed the examination. For the study period the NCEPU students were offered a Russian culture program. Chinese students visited Russian culture center and got an impression of the culture and customs of Russian people.

NCEPU has been founded in 1958 and since then it has been one of the leading Universities of the country, being subject to the Ministry of education of PRC. It is a multidisciplinary Chinese University basing of the technical sciences accorded with the Humanities, Natural, Economic, Administration and Legal ones with the definitive professional specifics.

The realization of the Double Degree program will be continued in the following 2018-2019 academic year. ​​​​
