Preparation of the meeting of Power engineering working group of BRICS University

National Research University "Moscow Power Engineering Institute" is starting the preparation for the online winter session of BRICS Power Engineering international workgroup. MPEI acts as its coordinator. The group embraces 2 Universities from Brazil, 3 from Russia, 2 from India, 3 from China and 2 from South Africa.

Meetings of the partner Universities’ representatives are held once a year in the framework of annual conference of BRICS Network University. To maintain the ties between the partners, MPEI organizes online distant meetings on a regular basis.

On the 19th of February, 2019, a council was held by the coordinators of the Russian Universities that are a part of international Power Engineering group. The discussion concerned the issues of signing the Agreement of mutual educational Master programs in the Network University BRICS, conducting the videoconferences of the international thematic group, inviting foreign partners to summer schools and preparing online courses in English for distance education of students.​​​
