Visit of representative of The University of Finance and Management in Bialystok to MPEI

On the 11th of March 2019, the reception of the Advisor of the Rector of Academy of Finance and Management in Białystok, WSFiZ, Poland, Mr. Artem Volkov was arranged to MPEI.

The University of Finance and Management in Bialystok (WSFiZ) was founded in 1993. Now it is a partner of MPEI in several joint educational programs. In 2016 a new round of cooperation has started for MPEI and WSFiZ – Erasmus+ short-term mobility program (KA1), has been opened, as well as the Double-Degree Bachelor program.

From the part of MPEI the meeting was attended by Vice-Rector on International Relations Alexander Tarasov, Head of the Department of International Relations Elena Gulicheva, Director of the Center of International Educational Programs Igor Zhelbakov and International Academic Program Coordinator Irina Kulik. A number of prospects of the extension of collaboration in the domain of joint educational programs of our Universities were discussed: Double Degree programs for Bachelor and Master Studies, Erasmus+ short-term summer schools, MBA program of supplementary education, forms of realization of Academic exchange and stages for employees and staff of our Universities. As well, Mr. Artem Volkov visited the Department of Nuclear Power Plants, being guided by Alexander Anikeev.
