Experts of THE international ranking at MPEI

On the 11th of June, 2019, the strategic session of MPEI was held in frames of the event of raising the global competitiveness. The MPEI's session was dedicated to the University's development. It was carried out with the participation of the experts of the International ranking agency "Times Higher Education" (THE).

The analysis of the current level of MPEI activities, compared to the target group of leading Russian and foreign universities, and the recommendations for improving the efficacy of the MPEI work were given by Nicky Horseman, leading consultant, and Michael Caruana, Head of the Department of strategicdecisions and Egor Yablokov, Regional Director of "THE" in Russia and CIS.

In 2018 our University was included in the Global ranking of leading Universities THE and the "Engineering Sciences and Technologies" ranking, and this year – the ranking of best universities of the countries with developing economy, рейтинг лучших вузов стран с развивающейся экономикой Emerging Economies University Ranking.

MPEI Rector, Vice-rectors, and a number of representatives of the University departments and administration responsible for pilot projects for development of programs of complex development on the base of the EQFM model (European Foundation for Quality Management) took part in the session. Results of the strategic session are evaluated in the events of new program development of MPEI.​​​
