Visit of Delegation of Konstanz University, Germany, to MPEI

On the 13th of June, 2019 a visit of the delegation from the University of Applied Sciences from Konstanz, Germany, was paid to MPEI. Our guests were teachers and administrators, and their goals were to discuss the issues of realization the joint educational projects and the programs of scientific cooperation.

University of Konstanz was represented by professors of technical and humanities faculties. The guide for them was professor Alexander Kirukhin who had graduated from MPEI as a Ph.D. and after continued as a scientist at Konstanz. In many respects the collaboration between our Universities that has lasted for 25 years has been possible due to his personal contribution.

At the start of the meeting MPEI staff from the Department of International relations showed the guests the presentation about MPEI, which was responded by the Konstanz presentation. From the part of MPEI the meeting was attended by Alexander Tarasov, Vice-Rector on International Relations, and Elena Gulicheva, Head of the Department of International Relations and a number of the specialists of the Department of International Relations.

After the meeting, German guests were offered a tour round MPEI that included the Departments of Electric Power Plants, Relay Protection and Power Systems Automation visits and a demonstration of VR educational simulator of power plant conducted by Assistant Professor Rinat Nasyrov.​​​​​
