MPEI takes part in network educational projects

On 28 May 2020, the representatives of MPEI took part in the conference on admission of the foreigners to the joint educational programs of BRICS Network University, USCO and CIS Network University.

The conference was organized by RUDN and was being carried out distantly. The event gathered multiple Universities of Russia and officers of Rossotrudnichestvo in CIS. The abovementioned Network Universities’ admission of foreign citizens was discussed with the representatives of Ministry of Science and Higher education of the Russian Federation and Rossotrudnichestvo: Elena Gorozhankina, Deputy Director of Department of International Cooperation, Alexey Levchenko, Deputy Director of the Department of State Policy in Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, Igor Polyachenko, Head of the Department of Cooperation in Higher and Supplementary Education Fields.

In frames of the conference, the participants have discussed the main problems of admission of foreigners to the joint educational programs of Network Universities in the current COVID-19 situation. From the MPEI side a report was made by Alexander Tarasov, Vice-rector on International Relations of MPEI.
The members of the conference took the package of measures upon improving the situation and optimization of the forthcoming admission process positively.
