Webinar "Digitalization of Academic Mobility and prospects for creation of SCO Digital University"

21 January MPEI carried out a webinar for Russian members of the Power Engineering field of the USCO called "Digitalization of Academic mobility and prospects for creation of SCO Digital University".

The work embraced representatives of the Novosibirsk State Technical University: Vice-Rector Vadim Nekrasov, Associate Professor Ilya Litvinov and Dean of the Faculty of Power Engineering Alexey Beloglazov; Head of the Center for International Educational Programs of South Ural State University Tatyana Vasilieva, Director of the Center for International Student Mobility and Recruiting Elizaveta Syskova, as well as Vice-Rector of MPEI Alexander Tarasov and the Head of the International Administration Sergey Shirinskii. 

On the basis of decisions of the National Rectorate of USCO, the members of the webinar discussed the actual problems of organization of Academic mobility in the pandemic conditions.

Colleagues shared the experience of organization of digital education, including online mobility, discussed the prospects of Digital University of SCO creation, as well as the possible criteria for the selection of new Universities entering USCO. The results of the discussion were to be proposed to the USCO Rectorate after further coordination.
