MPEI Lecturer Inna Samson Elected President of Dominican Society of Physics

MPEI International Administration and the Direction of Institute of Energy Efficiency and Hydrogen Technologies congratulate Inna Samson, invited lecturer of MPEI, graduate of the Department of Heat and Mass Transfer Processes and Installations,​ on the special occasion of her election as a President of Dominican Society of Physics (La Sociedad Dominicana de Física ― SoDoFi).

SoDoFi is a non-profit organization founded on June 3, 1979, that brings together a large number of international professionals with specialized education in Physics or interested in it. SoDoFi's goal is to develop and promote this branch of science.

Inna Samson, professor at the Institute of Technology of Santo Domingo (INTEC), associate professor of the MPEI Department of Heat and Mass Transfer Processes and Installations, has been an active member of SoDoFi, working both to draw attention to the development of physics in the Dominican Republic and to expand international cooperation in the field of physics. The result of this work has been her election as President of SoDoFi for the period of 2020―2022.

SoDoFi initiatives and projects for strengthening the institutional base and developing Physics attract huge attention from scientists of different countries including Russia and, in particular, the attention of MPEI. In 2019, a cooperation agreement between SoDoFi and our University was signed. Within the framework of this agreement, professors and other teachers of MPEI regularly participate in the events held by SoDoFi.
