Thermal Engineering Journal takes the 1st place in RISC for the 6th consecutive year

The results of the publishing activity of revues in the RISC database for 2020 are summed up. According to the present datta, theoretical and science-practical Journal “Thermal Engineering” has achieved progress in the majority of indices featuring the authority and well-being of a journal (https://www.elibrary.ru/title_profile.asp?id=8246).

It is worth underlining that the considerable boost was given to the Science Index, that is the cornerstone of the RISC: it has augmented from 1,704 in 2019 to 2,623 in 2020, raising the journal to the 136 place of the ranking. The number of citations for the journal articles in 2020 has turned out to be the vastest since 2008, when the first RISC ranking of Russian journals was created, making it 1659.

It is a pleasure to consider that the Thermal Engineering Journal, that is partially the MPEI work, has been taking the first place in Power Engineering rating for the last 6 consecutive years.
