MPEI took part in events of 100th anniversary of Diplomatic relationship between Russia and Mongolia

12 November, 2021, a solemn event was held to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Russia and Mongolia.

MPEI was represented by Vladimir Zamolodchikov, First Vice-Rector, Alexander Tarasov, Vice-Rector for International Relations, and Tatyana Soboleva, engineer of the Electrotechnical Complexes and Electric Transport Department.

In the framework of the event Tatyana Soboleva was given a memorable medal dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the official Russian-Mongolian relationship.​

The first students from Mongolia were admitted to study at MPEI in 1953. Since then, our university has trained over 500 engineers, Bachelors, Masters and 19 Ph.D. students. MPEI was awarded the Order of the Polar Star of Mongolia for a great contribution to development and training of personnel in the energy sector.
