MPEI broadens cooperation with Uzbekistan in framework of II Russian-Uzbek Educational Forum19.11.202117 November, 2021, the delegation of Tashkent State Technical University, Uzbekistan, visited MPEI in the framework of Russian-Uzbek Educational Forum. It was headed by the Rector of TashSTU Sadritdin Turabdzhanov and included Hozhakbar Daliev, executive director of the MPEI Branch in Tashkent.The guests were welcomed by Alexander Tarasov, MPEI Vice-rector on International Relations, Maksim Kravchenko, Head of the MPEI Tashkent Branch, and Tatyana Chestopalova, Head of Institute of Hydropower and Renewable Energy (IHRE). Mrs Shestopalova spoke about the headed institute and presented laboratories and computer classes.The delegation visited the Department of Electric Power Systems of Institute of Electrical Power Engineering (IEPE) and was shown the virtual stands and the VR-simulator of a power station by Rinat Nasyrov, associate professor of IEPE.After the MPEI presentation, the officials discussed the issues of MPEI Uzbek Branch development and expressed their desire to carry out the long-term and fruitful participation between TashSTU and MPEI.
