MPEI Rector took part in Presidents’ Forum of University Alliance of Silk Road

19 November, 2021, the Presidents’ Forum of the University Alliance of the Silk Road was held by the Universities’ Council that included the Polytechnic University of Milan and the Xi'an Jiaotong University.

MPEI Rector Nikolay Rogalev reported in the section “International Cooperation and Exchanges in Post-Pandemic Era” with the topic “Adaptation of the MPEI Joint Educational Programs to Post-Pandemic Reality”. Mr. Rogalev underlined that the current Covid-19 situation triggered a row of the changes in the study process, and spoke about one of the innovations implemented at MPEI: digital study platform - helpful educational resource for both students and teachers.

The University Alliance of the New Silk Road (UASR) is a non-governmental and non-profit organization dedicated to openness and international cooperation in the field of higher education. UASR brings together higher education institutions from countries located along the historic Silk Road. MPEI is a member of the Executive Council of the UASR Alliance, which currently includes 150 universities from 38 countries.
