MPEI on educational platforms of Lebanon02.12.202126 November, 2021, in the framework of the Year of Science and Technology, and within the goal of popularization of MPEI in the sphere of Lebanon higher education, the Head of Institute of Information Technologies (IITCS) Sergey Vishnyakov conducted an open lecture. Its organizer was the Russian House in Beirut, the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Lebanon. The lecture was carried out remotely on the Zoom base in English medium. The target group of the event were the applicants, Bachelor students, representatives of the teaching staff of several Lebanon universities.The event was opened by a speech of Vadim Zaychikov, Head of Russian House in Beirut. Then, Sergey Vishnyakov read a lecture on the topic “Contemporary technologies in signal processing”, and then introduced the basic programs of Bachelor and Master studies in the field of IT implemented by IITCS in Russian and English media, to the listeners.The event’s video has become one of the most popular among the educational content on the web and can make a positive impact on the development of cooperation between MPEI and Lebanon Universities in IT and Computer Science.
