MPEI at open meeting of the National Administration of USCO

6 September, 2022 MPEI took part in an open meeting of the National Administration of the SCO University (USCO).

As part of the event, the main issues of the activities of the USCO for 2021-2022 were considered, reports of coordinating universities in priority training areas were heard. The meeting participants also discussed work results and the main problems that partner universities face in the course of implementing joint educational programs, and ways to solve them.

From MPEI part, Alexander Tarasov, Vice-Rector for International Relations spoke with the topic “Creation and implementation of joint postgraduate and undergraduate programs within the framework of the SCO University”. Sergey Shirinskii, Head of the Department of External Relations shared his experience on the implementation of network educational programs of the USCO in the priority area "Energy".

MPEI is one of the representatives of the basic Russian universities that form the University of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization since 2009, and was unanimously chosen as the international coordinator of the "Energy" direction.
