Summer Multidisciplinary University "Russia-Africa" started at MPEI

​21 November, 2022, the Summer Multidisciplinary University “Russia-Africa” started at MPEI.

The main tasks of the Russian-African N​etwork University are the creation of a single educational and scientific space as well as mechanisms for the development of academic and student mobility, to promote intercultural dialogue and the mutual enrichment of cultures and languages.

During the week, students from Egypt will have master classes, lectures and practical classes from the Institute of Electric Power Engineering and the Institute of Hydropower and Renewable Energy of MPEI​, as well as excursions to enterprises to partner companies of the university.
 

The event provides for the training of foreign students from Africa on the educational track "Actual tasks of the electric power industry", as well as cultural and historical lectures and excursions.

“Our university is one of the founders of the Russian-African Network University due to its rich experience in scientific and educational cooperation with the countries of the African continent. The Russia-Africa Multidisciplinary University is primarily aimed at transferring the practice-oriented experience of MPEI at the international level ,” , — Nikolay Rogalev, MPEI Rector greeted the participants of the Summer Multidisciplinary University “Russia-Africa”.
