Future employees of JSC "Hydroproject" on graduation ceremony

5 April, 2023 there was an award ceremony for students from the Republic of Uzbekistan who had successfully completed their professional retraining on “Hydraulics and Hydraulic Structures” program at the Department of Hydromechanics and Hydraulic Machines..

Despite the large number of applications for the program, only seven students were able to go through the rigorous selection process across the country conducted by the JSC "Gidroproekt" organization. After completing the basic program, the students are guaranteed employment at JSC "Gidroproekt", the leading organization in the field of hydraulic engineering and construction in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the three-month program, the students maintained an intensive training schedule and successfully coped with the final exams. It was nice to hear the students express their hope in the future to return to MPEI again and again and to maintain scientific and professional ties with the university personnel and faculty members of the department.

During the diploma awarding ceremony Alexander Tarasov, Vice-Rector on International Relations, wished the graduates success in their future career. He thanked Alexander Volkov, the Head of the Department of Hydromechanics and hydraulic machines (IHRE), and employees of the Institute of Remote and Additional Education​ for the excellent organization of the educational program.

Alexander Volkov added that the program not only gave the students the opportunity to obtain the necessary knowledge and skills, but also offered invaluable opportunities for professional collaboration and guaranteed employment for their future career. This is a significant achievement for the graduates who can be proud of their perseverance and diligence.
