Conclusion of agreement of cooperation with new foreign partner of MPEI
MPEI has concluded an agreement of cooperation with Politechnika Bialostocka, Poland, as a result of the first visit of MPEI representatives to Bialystok University of Technology in February 2020.
BUT is the largest technical university in northeastern Poland. The university was founded in 1949, and now it is a modern and dynamically developing scientific and educational center. More than 10,000 undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students study at 7 faculties of BUT. These are the names:
- Faculty of Architecture
- Faculty of Construction and Environmental Engineering
- Faculty of Power Engineering
- Faculty of Informatics
- Faculty of Mechanics
- Faculty of Management
- Faculty of Forestry
Bialystok University of Technology has the academic
rights to award a doctorate in 7 fields: Mechanical Engineering, Operation,
Construction, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science,
Environmental Engineering and Mechanics. The university collaborates with more
than 120 academic centers both in Europe and worldwide. Within the framework of
scientific and didactic contracts, scientists actively participate in national
and international projects. The campus is located in a beautiful place on a vast
territory, with New Art style educational buildings equipped with modern
equipment, research centers, specialized laboratories, conference rooms,
recreation areas and comfortable hostels.
At the initial stage of collaboration development it
has been planned to realize the Academic exchange of teaching staff in goals of
acquaintance, mutual participation in conferences and workshops, as well as
establishing partnership on the base of Erasmus+ for KA1 and KA2 fields, i.e.
short-term mobility for students and teachers, and bilateral projects.
