International Thematic Group "Energy" of BRICS Network University

On the 25th of May, 2020, the working meeting of International Thematic Group "Energy" of BRICS Network University was carried out on the basis of MPEI Cisco Webex online platform.

The meeting was attended by the BRICS Network University coordinators and representatives of partner Universities of Russia, India, China and South Africa. The following Universities were present:

Russia:

• National Research University "Moscow Power Engineering Institute"

• Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN)

• National University of Science and Technology "MISIS"

India:

• Indian Institute of Technology Bombay
• Banaras Hindu University Varanasi

China:

• Hunan University

South Africa:

• North West University

The discussion of the meeting touched the initiative of Russian National BRICS Network University Committee upon the creation of Development conception of BRICS Network University and the Roadmap. As well, RUDN, MPEI, NUST MISIS and Banaras Hindu University Varanasi Master programs in English medium were introduced to open the joint education programs on their basis. The Universities also presented the finance capacities for the Academic Mobility support available in their countries.

The offers of partner Universities upon the Roadmap ITG Energy are to be collected in written form and worked out in the following few weeks.​​
