MPEI postgraduates are winners of all-Russian contest for Presidential scholarships to study abroad10.08.2020
The results of the all-Russian open contest for the
scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation to study abroad in the
2020/2021 academical year have been summarized.
The winners will receive the right to study for 1 or 2
semesters at the chosen foreign university. The scholarship covers the tuition
fee, vias, transport, living, insurance and transport expenses.
Every year the International Administration of MPEI
carries out an active informational job in the framework of the Presidential
scholarships for study abroad contest. The total number of scholarships for the
winners from all Russian universities this year is 100. That subdivides into 60
prizes for postgraduates and 40 for students. Totally, in 2020 there were
around 200 requests.
Among the winners of the contest this year there are
three MPEI postgraduates:
Dmitry
Babenko - postgraduate of the Department of Low
Temperatures, ITNPE, the destination University is Otto-von-Guericke University
of Magdeburg, Germany.
Maksim
Burmeister - postgraduate of the Department of
Electric Power Systems, IEPE, the destination University is Otto-von-Guericke
University of Magdeburg, Germany.
Vyacheslav
Mayorov - postgraduate of the Department of Low
Temperatures, ITNPE, the destination University is University of Stuttgart,
Germany.
The International Administration congratulates the
winners and expresses its hope for the broader representation of MPEI among the
victors next year.
