MPEI's educational project is among the best practices of Russian education in 202228.12.2022
The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation
included MPEI project "Digital educational platform for the implementation
of open education courses for foreign citizens"
(https://mpei.ru/internationalactivities/foo/Pages/details.aspx) in the
collection of the best practices of Russian education in 2022.
During the All-Russian seminar
(https://grant.vercont.ru/event/58) the results of activities on dissemination of
the best practices of Russian education in the framework of international
cooperation in Russia and abroad were summed up. MPEI was represented at the
seminar by Maxim Silaev, Associate Professor of the Department of Technical and
Power Engineering. As a result of the seminar the digital educational platform
developed by MPEI www.digiteducation.ru was included in the collection of best
practices, aimed at ensuring the full functioning and development of the
Russian language in Russia and abroad.
Prospects for the development of the project are
associated with the addition of new materials to the existing courses. It is
planned to place new courses on mathematics, power engineering, power quality
and other subjects.
The main advantage of the platform is the availability
of educational resources using digital technologies for anyone who wants to
acquire new and tested knowledge, as well as expand the set of competencies
obtained at school and university.
Presentation of the project was held from November 28
to December 1, 2022 within the Open Education Forum in Russian language at MPEI
which brought together over 1000 participants from 34 countries and more than
30 speakers from Russia and foreign countries (read more about the Forum here.)
