MPEI took part in International Scientific Conference "Applied Mechanics and Innovative Technologies"

12 January, 2023 the International Scientific Conference "Applied Mechanics and Innovative Technologies" was held on.

The Conference is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the birth of Doctor of Physico-Mathematical Sciences, Professor Sarbagysh Abdrakhmanov - a major specialist in the field of physics and mechanics of solids, the founder of the scientific school on the calculation of elements and structures made of materials with shape memory. Sarbagysh Abdrakhmanov is Honored Worker of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, Academician of the Engineering Academy of the Kyrgyz Republic, International Engineering Academy (Russia). In 2014, he was awarded the "Dank" Medal.

He has published more than 150 scientific works, including 3 monographs, 5 textbooks and manuals. Under his supervision one doctoral dissertation was prepared and eight PhD theses were defended.

More than 100 participants from the Republic of Kyrgyzstan and the Russian Federation took part in the conference.

The conference was attended by Turatbek Duishenaliev, Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics, professor of the Department of Robotics, Mechatronics, Dynamics and Machine Strength; Elena Gulicheva, PhD in Economics, Director on International Relations; Maxim Silaev, PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor of the Department of Theoretical Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering; Leonid Popov, PhD in Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor of Higher Mathematics Department; employees of the Department of Robotics, Mechatronics, Dynamics and Strength of Machines: Vasily Khromatov, PhD, Professor; Anna Mozgunova - PhD, associate professor; Tatiana Dogadina, PhD, Associate Professor; Natalia Ozerova and Ilya Korolev, Associate Professors of Engineering Ecology and Labor Protection Department, as well as Daniil Dikarev, student of the Institute of Power Machinery and Mechanics.

Mirlan Chynybaev, Rector of Kyrgyz State Technical University named after Iskhak Razzakov made a welcoming speech at the opening of the forum.

Turatbek Duyshenaliev is a laureate of the State Prize of the Kyrgyz Republic in Science and Technology, MPEI Honorary Doctor. Turatbek Duyshenaliev spoke in the plenary session on "Scientific schools as a key factor in the formation of the teaching staff of technical universities.

Maxim Sylaev and Elena Gulicheva within the framework of the plenary presentations told about the Digital Educational Platform for the implementation of open education courses in the Russian language supported by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation (link to the platform page: mpei.ru/internationalactivities/foo/Pages/details.aspx).

They also told about the Open Education Forum from November 28 to December 1, 2022 (link to the page of the Forum: https://mpei.ru/internationalactivities/foo/Pages/default.aspx).

Within the framework of the Conference there were the following sections:
