Ambassador of Cuba noted MPEI success in training specialists for Liberty Island24.03.2023

Cuba in the Russian Federation, invited representatives of the Russian mass
media to his residence on the occasion of the Cuban Press Day.

Answering the questions of journalists Julio Garmendia Peña emphasized
the success of MPEI in training specialists for the Liberty Island: "Cuban
students continue studying in Russian educational institutions as before.
Russia does its best to ensure that Cubans in your country have good conditions
for adaptation, living and becoming high-level specialists able to apply their
knowledge in the Cuban economy. At present 327 Cubans are studying in different
Russian higher educational institutions, and during last several years 800 of
our students got education here. In particular, very successful training of
Cuban specialists is carried out at the prestigious MPEI.
