GEIDCO representatives visited MPEI branch in Tashkent22.05.2024 On May 22, 2024 the representative Chei Xupeng together with specialists Zhou Pengchao and He Kwong of the Chinese Representative Office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the “Global Energy Development and Cooperation Organization” (GEIDCO) visited MPEI branch in Tashkent within familiarization with the activities and discussion of cooperation issues. During this visit, negotiations were held on the possibility of organizing joint events with the participation of scientists from Uzbekistan and China on the problems of power engineering supply and development of the electric power industry. The Chinese guests were also given a tour of the educational building, laboratory building, sports complex and the territory of the branch. “The Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization (GEIDCO) was established on March 26, 2016. The purpose of GEIDCO is to promote the formation of the Global Energy Pool, meet global electricity demand with clean and alternative energy sources, contribute to the realization of the UN goal of “sustainable energy for all”, combat climate change and serve the sustainable development of the human community.
