The IV International Conference "Practice of recognition bridging continents"

On the 14th -15th of October, 2016 the fourth regular fourth International Conference "The practice of recognition bridging continents" on the platform of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia took place. The Conference was organized by National Information Center on data support of recognition of education and (or) qualifications, academic degrees and academic statuses received in the foreign country which functions are assigned to Federal State Budgetary Institution "GlavExpertCenter". Traditionally these conferences have already become a peculiar discussion platform for experts in the field of national and international education.

Many Russian and foreign specialists in the field of education took part in the conference. Among them were: the experts in education evaluation from Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Romania, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Latvia, Lithuania representing the European centers of ENIC-NARIC network and the delegation from the People's Republic of China and Kazakhstan. In their video messages the Chairman of Committee on Education of the State Duma V. Nikonov and the Deputy Minister of science and education of the Russian Federation V. Kaganov welcomed the conferees. Moreover the representatives from following State Services acted from a rostrum: the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Federal Education and Science Supervision Service, National Information Centers of foreign countries, Universities, and others. In their performances conferees raised the questions of interaction of the educational organizations of Asia and Europe, bridges of continents in the educational sphere. They also actively discussed the issues of foreign students involvement, elimination of bureaucratic obstacles and simplification of procedures of recognition of education and qualifications, possibilities of transition to e-document management in education.
