MPEI delegation visits Socialist Republic of Vietnam

MPEI International Division informs that MPEI delegation visited SRV by the invitation of the International institute of the Vietnamese State University since 24.01.15 till 06.02.2015 within the contract on cooperation between MPEI and MI VSU. The purpose of the visit is negotiations on realization of joint educational programs and participation in events of the project "It is time to study in Russia!". The delegation took part in the selection stage of the project "It is time to study in Russia!" in Vietnam. The aim of the events is enlargement of interest of the Vietnamese school and university students in education in Russia. The purpose of the project is selection of the most talented graduates from national schools and students of Universities to train in Russian universities.

About 3000 seniors were involved in competitive events of the Academic Competition in 2015. The Vietnamese party chose participants for the selection stage among them. Events in Vietnam are held within actions concerning celebration of the 65 anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the USSR. The selection stage of the Academic Competition was open on 25.01.15 in RCSC in Hanoi.

 

In Hanoi, in the selection stage, 326 school students, took part in Da Nang – 154, in Ho Chi Minh – 125. Total number of the school students who visited the events of the selection stage is 605 people. After actions in all cities, the selection commission performed an inspection of works of participants of the Academic Competition, made protocols of the selection stage results in every each city and the final stage where there were defined winners. According to the regulations of the Academic Competition in protocols, there were specified the participants who got the highest score. In the final protocol, 50 winners were defined.

MPEI delegation visited Đà Nẵng technological university. There took place the ceremony of signing of the Memorandum on mutual understanding and Contracts on cooperation between our universities.

There were invitations for participation in MPEI anniversary celebration in June, 2015 for many universities and the organizations.
