MPEI IS THE AWARD WINNER IN THE FIELD OF THE INTERNALIZATION OF HIGHER EDUCATION

MPEI for the second time has become the winner of the competition on the internalization of higher education in the nomination “Mobility of students and teachers”. The ceremonial awarding of the VII Annual Prize for achievements in the international activities of universities took place on October 4, 2023 at the Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University as part of the X International Conference of the Export of Higher Education.

This year, a competent jury selected the winners in 11 nominations. The Prize was awarded to MPEI for work in the project: “Effective mechanisms for the use of state scholarships and grants to expand the academic mobility of students”.

MPEI provides a wide choice of various international academic mobility programs. MPEI implements programs in a hybrid format, both face-to-face and remote that allowed MPEI to become the best in this nomination. A commemorative statuette and a diploma of the winner were awarded to MPEI representatives.

In 2023, MPEI students participated in various international academic mobility programs in China, Abkhazia, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and other countries.

Since 2017, the Prize has been awarded to universities for achievements in the field of internalization of higher education and active promotion of Russia and the CIS in the world.

The X International conference on the Export of Higher Education takes place from October 4 to 7, 2023. The conference involved in working sessions with reports, presentations and discussions aimed at promoting Russian Education and the Russian language abroad, meeting with colleagues from foreign universities, face-to-face business meetings with recruiting agencies.
