In National Research University "Moscow Power Engineering Institute" there took place a mourning rally as a tribute to the memory of the dead

On the 22nd of June, 2016 MPEI professors, students and veterans came to that place in the campus where 75 years ago their predecessors have met the outbreak of the Great Patriotic War. From here MPEI alumni and students started their way to the theatre of war.

The Chairman of the MPEI Veterans Administration G. Kiselev, ex-servicemen, veterans-workers and the University staff have addressed the audience. They have laid flowers at the recently restored monument and they also have shared reminiscence about the sacred years of the fight for freedom of the Fatherland.
