Inauguration at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology

The International Administration of MPEI advises, that in the period from the 2nd to the 4th of October, 2016 the delegation of MPEI headed by the Rector - Professor N. Rogalev at the behest of Wroclaw University of Science and Technology visited Poland. The delegation conducted the negotiations on the joint educational programs realization and participated in opening of a new academic year.

On the delegation of MPEI were:

• Vice-Rector on International Relations V. Zamolodchikov;
• Head of Department of International Relations A. Tarasov.

The delegation of MPEI took part in the ceremony of inauguration. In 2016 at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology the rectorial election happened. In frame of inauguration there took place the devolution of powers from the rector, Honorary Doctor of MPEI Prof. Tadeusz Wieckowski to the new one Prof. Cezary Madryas.

On the 2nd of October the meeting of the leadership of the Polish University with the representatives of international delegations, who had arrives to that event from Russia, the Ukraine, Germany, India, The UK and the Czech Republic came around. On the Russian delegation were the representatives form MPEI, MISIS, PFUR and MGSU.

Rector of MPEI Nikolay Rogalev and a new rector of Wroclaw University of Science and Technology Cezary Madryas confirmed a strategic level of the relations between our Universities and discussed the issues of a further development of the educational and scientific cooperation. The settlement on the return visit of the Polish Rector to MPEI in spring 2017 was made. ​
