Training of the competent personnel in the field of education internationalization within BRICS Network University and programs "It is time to study in Russia!"

​Since 13.04.2016 to 22.04.2016 the XII All-Russian annual educational and methodical workshop "The international precepts of law and technology of documentation pick up and publishing of documents on education at transboundary educational paths. Education systems of BRICS countries" took place

The organizers of the workshop were National Research University "Moscow Power Engineering Institute" and Moscow Technological Institute under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. The issues of the workshop were: training of the competent personnel in the field of education internationalization within the project "It is time to study in Russia!", training of staff of the international services and selection committees concerning the recruiting, the organization of enrolment and training of foreign citizens in 2016/2017 academic year, in particular citizens from BRICS countries, compatriots abroad and those who have foreign academic certificates, work with foreign alumni.

Traditionally representatives of Universities from various Federal districts have gathered on the workshop: among them there are heads and the staff of the international services, academic offices of Universities in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Ryazan, Ivanovo, Kazan, Rostov-on-Don etc. – more than 20 people. Vice Rector on International Relations from National Research University "Moscow Power Engineering Institute" V. Zamolodchikov and MTI  Rector G. Bubnov made welcome speech at the plenary meeting to the audience on the workshop opening day that has taken place at Moscow Technological Institute. The other speakers were Head of federal state budgetary scientific institution "Glavexpertcenter" Skorobogatova V., Head of department of research and information maintenance of international cooperation of International department of Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Koropchenko A., Research Supervisor of Federal State Budgetary Institution "Interobrazovanie", Deputy Director of Institute for Quality in Higher Education of NUST "MISIS" Kruglov V., Vice Rector on International Cooperation of State Technical University—MADI Rementsov A., Director of the Center of Excellence "The international educational programs" of MPEI, Head of MPEI Department of Information-Measuring Technique Zhelbakov I., CEO of Eastern European University Association Voronovsky B., a representative of rating agency Egorova A., etc.

Participants of the workshop had the opportunity:

• to study new regulating documents of the Russian legislation in education: issues concerning enrollment and training of foreign citizens, recognition of foreign education, in the organization of joint and network programs with foreign Universities;
• to obtain the information about the way of foreign education documents recognition in the educational establishment having the right to establish own order of recognition of foreign education and (or) qualifications;
• to receive practical skills concerning evaluation of foreign education documents in terms of the most characteristic documents samples and concerning detection of questionable documents;
• to take part in classes and trainings on work with documents of foreign citizens, compatriots abroad and (or) those who have foreign education documents in case of their enrollment according to provisions of new Admission Regulations;
• to discuss possibilities of network interaction between Universities in the international educational area regarding forming the transboundary educational paths for students.

The audience of the All-Russian workshop has noted the high level of the organization and novelty of the theoretical and practical knowledge.​
