Since 2013, MPEI has been collaborating with two Australian universities: Griffith University and Curtin University. The latter one along with MPEI is a member of the ADEPT (International Academic Forum for the Development of Electric Power Technologies). The forum is attended by 8 universities from all parts of the world.
In 2015, National Research University "Moscow Power Engineering Institute" took part in the Conference and Exhibition of International Education of professional leaders in the field of education and science in the Asia-Pacific region. In the framework of the conference, MPEI had the opportunity to present the report on the Olympiad "It’s Time to study in Russia!" In the "Global Student" section.
