Training of specialists in the
field of energy at MPEI for India began in the 1960s. Over the entire history,
more than 150 people have been trained at MPEI.
Nowadays MPEI cooperates with
6 Indian universities.
MPEI staff regularly
participates in international conferences and in joint scientific researches
with colleagues from India.
MPEI held a number of events
within the framework of BRICS network university.
MPEI together with Indian
universities takes part in events devoted to modern development of power
engineering and academic mobility of students and professors. Webinars with
presentation of MPEI educational programs are held for applicants from India.
In addition to students,
graduate students have been trained at MPEI, and internships for students from
India have been held.
