Since 1990, MPEI has been collaborating with Norwegian University of Science and Technology (Norwegian Institute of Technology). The University is the main center of technical and engineering education in the country.
In accordance with the agreement between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education of the Kingdom of Norway on cooperation in the field of education of April 27, 2010, the Norwegian side provides scholarships for Russian citizens to study at higher educational institutions of Norway.
