Slovakia

 

Scientific cooperation with the Slovak Republic develops through the National Scholarship Program of the Slovakia. Students and staff of MPEI were accepted in Slovakian institutes as a part of this program in 2011, 2013, 2015, 2016. An internship program in the framework of interaction between the Ministries of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the Slovak Republic has also been maintained. Then, two scientific and one academic internships in Slovakia were supported in 2015. The backup was as well given for the Russian-Slovak scientific partnership from the Russian Scientific Funds, particularly from Russian Scientific Fund and Russian Foundation for Basic Research. The collaboration has also been promoted by close scientific contacts with the Universities of Slovakia (Zhilina etc.) Students of MPEI take part in the scientific and technical conferences and seminars conducted on the base of Zhilina University (such as ELEKTRO or others).

Active collaboration is also led by AID – Association of International Departments of Central and Easters Europe. Some Honorable Czechoslovakian scientists are Honorary Doctors of MPEI as well.
