Cooperation
between MPEI and Chad started in 1976, when the first students were admitted.
The
students take an active part in various MPEI events, such as the Open Russian
Language Olympiad for foreign students, demonstrating their knowledge of the
Russian language, as well as the Interfestival, surprising the audience with
cultural performances.
In
2024, a delegation from Chad headed by Mr. Tom Erdimi, Minister of Higher
Education, paid an official visit to MPEI.
