Students and employees of MPEI branch in Dushanbe visited Victory Park

The Directorate and students from MPEI branch in Dushanbe (Tajikistan) visited the Victory Park. They laid a floral wreath at the Eternal Light and observed a minute of silence in memory of those who died in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

We would like to add that more than 300 thousand natives of Tajikistan fought at the fronts of the Great Patriotic War, while 45 thousand people were mobilized to military enterprises. Over 50 thousand natives of the Republic were awarded orders and medals, 65 people were awarded the Title of Hero of the Soviet Union, 15 became Full Cavaliers of the Order of Glory.
