Fourth graduation of bachelor-students under the joint program of MPEI and North China Electric Power University

On July 25, 2024, Chinese students successfully completed the joint program of MPEI and North China Electric Power University (NCEPU) and received bachelor's degrees. The joint program is implemented within the SCO University with scholarship support from the Russian Ministry of Education and Science.

For the first two years Chinese students who mastered joint program in Heat Power Engineering, Electric Power Engineering and Nuclear Power Engineering studied in China at the North China Electric Power University in the Chinese language with intensive training in Russian, and the second two years they studied at MPEI only in Russian. Such a transition is not easy for students, but all 19 people have coped with the task and successfully completed their studies. Many of them are going to continue their studies under the MPEI master's program.

Many graduates of the first bachelor-students group of the joint program have successfully completed their master's studies at MPEI, and four of them are currently enrolled in MPEI PhD courses. Other graduates are choosing a similar way. This year, 6 master-students from the second bachelor-students group of the joint program applied to MPEI PhD courses, and most of the graduates from the third bachelor-students group continue their studies under the MPEI master's program.
