Extraordinary Meeting of the National Working Group on Energy of the SCO University

On July 23, 2024, an extraordinary meeting of the national working group on Energy of the SCO University Energy Working Group was held. The National Working Group on Energy includes representatives of MPEI, South Ural State University, Novosibirsk State Technical University and Ural Federal University.

The extraordinary meeting was dedicated to the approval of the results of the traditional competition for the best graduate thesis among the graduates of joint programs of the SCO University in the energy field. The competition is held separately for bachelor's and master's degree graduates and separately for each training direction.

In 2024, 2 graduates of the joint master's program of the South Ural State University and North China Electric Power University (NCEPU) Wang Xiuru (Design and research on an antenna positioning system) and Li Guoshuai (Design and research on an electric drive of cold pilger mill) have won the competition, as well as graduates of joint bachelor's degree programs of MPEI and NCEPU Zhang Jingcheng (Use of broadband and narrowband measurement scheme for partial discharge control by electrical method) – Electrical Power Engineering and electrical engineering, Wang Hao (Calculation of PG-1200 MKP) – Nuclear power engineering and thermal physics, Xu Wei (Thermal power plant with 530 MW units. Noise reduction from GTU with a capacity of 300 MW on the example of China) – Thermal power engineering and thermal engineering.

Graduates will receive certificates of winners of the graduation theses contest.
