Delegation from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia visited MPEI

On July 19, 2024 MPEI was visited by a delegation from the Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia headed by the Vice-Rector.

On MPEI side, Alexander Tarasov, Vice-Rector on International Relations, Sergey Shirinskii, Head of International Administration and Elena Gulicheva, Director on International Relations, attended the meeting.

As part of the visit, there took place an introductory tour around MPEI. The delegates visited the Department of Hydropower Engineering and Renewable Energy, the center for the National Technological Initiative “Technologies for Transportation of Electricity and Distributed Intelligent Energy Systems”, the Department of Electric Power Systems, the Department of Metals Technology.

A meeting was also held with MPEI administration, within the further discussion of cooperation issues.

Following the visit, the parties agreed on mutual participation of professors of the two universities in scientific conferences, exchange of information on the possibility of publishing in journals indexed in the SCOPUS database, development of international academic mobility, assistance in lifelong learning and knowledge exchange.
