Congratulations to the winners of the all-Russian open competition to award scholarships of the President of the Russian Federation for abroad studies in 2024/2025

The results of the all-Russian open competition to award scholarships of the President of the Russian Federation for abroad studies to undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students of educational establishments studying under higher education academic programs in the academic year 2024/2025 were summed up.

The scholarship includes the costs of studying at the selected foreign university, visa application, travel to and from the place of study, accommodation, medical insurance, and local transportation.

Every year, MPEI International Administration conducts active information work within the competition for the scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation for abroad studies. This year, 28 students and 39 Ph.D.-students, including two students and five Ph.D.-students of MPEI, have become winners of the competition.

MPEI winners are:

1. Margarita Kozlova – 3rd year postgraduate student of the Institute of Energy Efficiency and Hydrogen Technologies, supervisor – Tatiana Kulova, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Chemistry and Electrochemical Energy.

2. Anna Krylovich – studying under the Master's program of the Institute of Information Technologies and Computer Science (А-04м-23 group), supervisor – Evgeny Bazulin, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Diagnostic Information Technologies.

3. Ekaterina Nikitina – a master-student of the Institute of Humanities and Applied Sciences (ГПоз-05м-23 group), supervisor - Luiza Rashitova, Associate Professor, Candidate of Social Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Advertising, Public Relations and Linguistics.

4. Roman Rogov - 1st year postgraduate student of the Engineering-Economic Institute, supervisor - Natalia Ketoyeva, Associate Professor, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Head of the Department of Management in Power Engineering and Industry.

5. Darya Torop - 1st year Ph.D.-student of the Institute of Thermal and Nuclear Power Engineering, supervisor - Sergey Guzhov, Associate Professor, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Automated Control Systems for Thermal Processes​.

6. Margarita Kharaburova - 1st year Ph.D.-student of the Institute of Electrical Engineering and Electrification, supervisor - Elena Ryzhkova, Associate Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Electric Power Supply of Industrial Enterprises and Electrotechnologies.

7. Konstantin Shish - 1st year Ph.D.-student of the Institute of Electrical Power Engineering, supervisor - Vladimir Tulsky, Associate Professor, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Head of the Department of Theoretical Bases of Electrical Engineering.

MPEI students and Ph.D.-students had an opportunity to study during the 1st and 2nd semesters in North China Electric Power University (China), Beijing Polytechnic Institute (China), Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov (Republic of Kyrgyzstan), Belarusian State Technological University (Republic of Belarus), North-West University (South Africa).
