Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) holds the top spot among universities of Spain and it is a leading University among Universities of Europe, showing the highest rates according to estimates of such famous world ratings as ARWU (Shanghai rating), THE and the others.

The University was founded in 1971, having united 14 departments and universities, mostly technical ones; they appeared and for several centuries they functioned as independent educational institutions.

Now more than 37800 students are trained at the University. The University territory is divided into 3 campuses, it makes 600 000 square meters and it has advanced extensive infrastructure.

On the territory of the University the impressive Scientific Park called by Spaniards as "The polytechnic city of innovations" is placed. There are work 1600 scientists and 400 people of operating personnel, and here you can find the main and unique laboratories, working rooms, workshops. The total cost of all projects makes more than 300 million euro/year. Industrial businessmen have the offices and representations in the territory of the scientific park. The majority of youth projects get support from the large companies to attract new talented personnel in the relevant branch. Students have the opportunity both to study and work at the university, and their qualification papers are devoted to real projects.

The university successfully realizes exchange programs for students and professors, annually sending and receiving about 2500 participants of various exchange programs. At the same time it is important to note that, despite a considerable flow of exchange participants, the university conducts very elective policy in the choice of partners. So, currently UPV realizes exchange programs for the Erasmus+ program only with three Russian universities: Peter the Great Saint-Petersburg Polytechnic University, Bauman Moscow State Technical University and Siberian Federal University. The university is very proud of the position in ratings and it continues to work constantly at improvement of education quality.

MPEI representatives and a group of colleagues from other universities participating in the project performed the planned work and there were arranged the training according to the schedule diagram of FSAMP project.

Prof. Agamirov Levon actively and effectually argues the point of view in the discussion about the analysis of data and statistics for aviation safety (see video on YouTube channel).

As the result of recommendations of director of Center of quality management and development prof. Carrion Garcia Andres who is FSAMP project coordinator from UPV there took place the meetings and constructive dialogue about the prospects of cooperation between the representative of MPEI International Administration Kulik Irina and the representative of rector office and Head of UPV department of international relations Miguel Sanchez Pradas; head of the international department of development and research activity Javier Orozco Messana; coordinator of exchange programs Elena Taulet Grech:

By the way, prof. Carrion Andres was impressed by performed FSAMP international conference at MPEI in May 2016 and he continues to carry the MPEI sign that he has got as the conferee in daily work at Polytechnic University of Valencia:

As the result of the meeting and discussion of cooperation prospects there was reached the agreement on renewal of the frame contract on cooperation between MPEI and UPV that became invalid in 2008.

There were reached primary agreements on the organization of joint scientific innovative projects and submission of requests for the European grants. And there was taken the decision to submit the joint application to the EU in February 2018 to receive financing for implementation of the academic mobility of students and professors within the Erasmus+ Program (the area – short-term mobility).

There were arranged the other useful meetings with representatives of Departments of Engineering Design, Industrial engineering, Applied mathematics, etc.
