MPEI at the International seminar devoted to the 30th anniversary of the Erasmus program

On the 11th-12th of May National Research University "Moscow Power Engineering Institute" participated in the international seminar "Amelioration of cooperation opportunities between the partner countries and the member countries of the Erasmus + program", dated for the 30th anniversary of the Erasmus program and it took place in Delegation of the European Union to Russia.

The representatives of more than 100 universities and educational institutions, and also representatives of the European educational agencies, DAAD Representative Offices (German Academic Exchange Service) in Russia participated in the event. MPEI was represented by Director for Erasmus+ Programme prof. Igor Zhelbakov and Institutional Coordinator for Erasmus+ Programme Irina Kulik.

In frames of the events that included interactive sessions in small groups, there were discussed the topical issues and problems concerning the implementation of the Erasmus+ programs and projects. The representatives discussed the possible ways of their solution, offered new ideas, shared their experience. During the individual meetings there were established new contacts with potential partners – universities of Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, the Czech Republic, etc., and there were discussed prospects of potential cooperation within educational programs and research activity.
